Key Features & Functions
- Capacity: 700 VA (about 390 Win many implementations)
- Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR): includes both “boost” and “buck” modes to compensate for input voltage that is slightly under or over nominal, helping to protect connected equipment without switching to battery unnecessarily.
- Cold Start Capability: the UPS can be started from battery alone (i.e., even if there is no AC input) in order to power devices during total mains loss.
- Self-Diagnostic / Auto Self-Test: built-in self-diagnostic routines to check system health, battery status, etc.
- Fast Charging & Auto Charging (in Off Mode): the UPS is able to charge its battery quickly, and can also charge even when switched off / not powering load. Auto-Restart: after power is restored, the UPS can automatically restart and resume supplying power to connected devices.
Electrical & Performance Specifications
Below is a compiled spec sheet based on sources (note: some values may vary by region or model batch):
| Parameter | Typical Value / Range |
| Input Voltage | 177–290 VAC (some sources say 140–300 VAC) |
| Nominal Output Voltage | ~230 VAC ± 10% |
| Frequency | 50 Hz (auto sensing) |
| Output Power | ~390 W (for 700 VA model) |
| Battery Type | Sealed lead-acid, maintenance-free |
| Backup Time | Typically 10–20 minutes under moderate load (actual depends on how many devices connected) |
| Charging Time | ~6-8 hours to reach ~90% charge (varies) |
| Protection Features | Overload protection, short circuit protection, surge protection, overcharge protection |
| Output Sockets | Multiple universal / standard AC sockets (2–3) |
Practical Use & Considerations
- The UPS is suitable for home or small office setups where one wants to protect a PC, modem, router, or small network device during outages or voltage dips.
- Under heavy load, the backup time will shrink — if you connect many devices or high power devices, the runtime will be low.
- Because it is line-interactive (not true double-conversion), some voltage anomalies beyond its AVR range may still require full battery switching.
- Maintenance is low because the battery is sealed, but the battery will eventually wear out (typically a few years, depending on usage and environment).
- Good to keep the unit in a cool, ventilated area; avoid blocking vents.
